About
I am an associate professor at the School of Information Management, Dalhousie University, Canada, where I teach courses in information management, metadata, cataloguing, records management, and indexing.
My research interests lie in the construction of indexing languages such as thesauri and taxonomies. My recent research projects have focused on exploring how social tagging and folksonomies can be used to enhance client experiences in library catalogues, and to complement formal indexing languages.
